Can Older Mobile Home Air Conditioning Have Sealed Disconnects At The Evaporator?

I need to remove an old Coleman evaporator to deal with a leaking drip pan. It has huge disconnects that look similar to self-seal condenser ones I last encountered in the early 80s.

there is no such thing that i am aware of…they where sealed until you screwed the lineset onto the evaporator and condenser…once you screwed them onto the fitting the seal was bursted and they will not reseal ever again….you need to have the unit pumped down in order to take the linesets off of the evaporator….what makes you thingk you need to remove the drain pan to fix a leak …does it have a hole in the bottom of it that you can see…It could be possible the only thing is wrong is that the drain line is stopped up(very common problem) up and the water is just overflowing out of the drain pan..

If you say so. Sounds like you answered your own question.
